Welcome to the website of Hull Kingston Lions Club where you can learn about the club and its activities.

We meet at the Vault , Holderness Road,Kingston Upon Hull every SECOND Monday of each Month at 7.30pm.

Hull Kingston Lions Club have full charitable status and are formed by a group of men and women who live out in the community and who wish to give something back by supporting local people and organisations. Our motto is ” WE Serve” and we do as part of the worlds largest service organisation,Lions Clubs International.
Since its formation in 1962, Hull Kingston Lions have served the community in many ways such as for the elderly and disabled, we make up and distribute food parcels at Christmas, and provide a New year Party.
In June we have our “LIONS DAY” outings where we take people to places such as Whitby, Bridlington, Scarborough.
We also provide our “Message in a bottle” which is basically a container with a sheet inside which is filled out with all your medical information and that is kept in your refrigerator, and a sticker is provided to be placed in view so any emergency services visiting your home will know the information is in the fridge.
We recycle any old spectacles and hearing aids, collection boxes are distributed around the area and are sent to third world countries.
We have raised funds for our local hospitals, children’s services, schools and many individuals who need help. This is done by our Christmas Santa’s Sleigh collection, Easter egg raffles, attending local functions and fairs in schools etc.
We also give help to disabled children and adults .We get involved with the Lions sports day for the disabled along with other Lions Clubs. We also support the Humberside police Lifestyle Project.
If you wish to become involved in our organisation, please to not hesitate to contact us via this page or the email address below.
We are always looking for new members and  fundraising ideas.

Can you be a Lion?  Yes but perhaps the best question is to yourself “Am I ready to become a Lion”?  What do the Lions do?  How much time is involved?  What can I bring to the Club?  Am I ready to “Serve” my community?  Are Lions fun?  All these questions can be answered. Give us a try and find out.   Remember, at the Hull Kingston Lions ‘WE SERVE’.

If you have what it takes please contact Lion Wendy Douthwaite on her email below for further information.
